Fleetwood has one road in and out, the A585, and little of the town's work is nine-to-five. The port, the fish and food processing plants, the caravan parks, care homes and the seafront trade all run on shifts and seasons, and many people commute to Blackpool Victoria Hospital or further along the coast. The tram is excellent for Blackpool but useless for a 6am start in Thornton or Poulton. That combination of variable hours and a long commute is why so many FY7 households need a dependable car and why a missed payment during a quiet winter should not shut the door. Getting to us from Fleetwood
Follow the A585 south out of Fleetwood through Thornton, past Windy Harbour and Singleton, to the roundabout at Junction 3 of the M55. Stay on the A585 towards Kirkham rather than joining the motorway, then turn onto the A583 Blackpool Road. Our forecourt is on the main road on the west side of Kirkham.
Without a car
Fleetwood has no railway station. Take the Blackpool tramway to Blackpool North, or a bus to Poulton-le-Fylde, then a Northern train to Kirkham & Wesham, which is a short walk from the forecourt.
Collection and delivery
Collection from Kirkham is always available and many Fleetwood customers combine it with a trip down the coast. Delivery to FY7 addresses may also be available, arranged once the finance is agreed and the documents are signed.
Our only forecourt is at Blackpool Road, Kirkham, Preston PR4 2RE. We do not have a branch or office in Fleetwood.
