Kirkham PX Centre (“we”, “us”) provides information and introductions for car finance. We may act as an introducer or credit broker; we are not a lender. This notice explains how we use your information under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

- Application details (income, affordability info you provide).
- Technical data (IP address, user-agent, pages viewed).
- Communication history (emails/SMS/notes relating to your enquiry).
How we use your data (purposes & lawful bases)
- To process your enquiry and check eligibility — performance of a contract or steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To introduce you to suitable lenders/brokers — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating our business and finding finance options for you.
- Compliance and record-keeping — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Updates about your application — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Marketing (optional) — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) where you opt-in; you can withdraw any time.
Who we share with
Where relevant, we may share your information with:
- Credit brokers and lenders to assess eligibility and provide finance offers.
- Service providers (hosting/email/SMS/analytics) under contract and subject to confidentiality.
- Regulators or law enforcement where required by law.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., UK IDTA, Addendum to the EU SCCs, or adequacy decisions).
Retention
Enquiry/application records are typically kept for up to 6 years from last activity for compliance and audit. Marketing preferences are retained until you opt out or for as long as necessary to evidence consent.
Your rights
You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and data portability. You also have the right to withdraw consent where we rely on consent.
