That means a large population of students, recent graduates, researchers on fixed-term contracts, and NHS staff on rotating shifts, plus Morecambe next door with its seasonal trade. Getting to us from Lancaster

Join the M6 southbound at Junction 34 or Junction 33 and head south to Junction 32, then take the M55 west. Leave at Junction 3 and follow the A585 towards Kirkham. Turn onto the A583 Blackpool Road and our forecourt is on the main road on the western side of town.

Without a car

Frequent trains run from Lancaster to Preston, taking around fifteen to twenty minutes. Change at Preston for a Northern service to Kirkham & Wesham, which is a short walk from the forecourt.

Collection and delivery

Collection from Kirkham is always available and is an easy motorway run from Lancaster. Delivery to LA1 and LA2 addresses may also be available, arranged once the finance is agreed.

I am on a fixed-term contract at Lancaster University. Can I still be considered for car finance?

Yes, fixed-term employment may be considered by lenders on our panel, subject to status and affordability. Lenders will usually want to see the contract and recent payslips, and some prefer a reasonable period left to run. If the contract is short, a larger deposit or a shorter term can help.

I work rotating shifts at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary and my bank statements look messy with overtime. Does that matter?

Overtime and enhancements are normal for NHS staff and lenders on our panel are used to seeing them. Regular, evidenced overtime may be counted towards income, subject to status and affordability. Bring three months of payslips so the lender can see the pattern rather than a single month.

Is there a benefit to coming down to Kirkham rather than using a dealer in Lancaster?
